Jury Seated in Kali Watkins Case

Former Webster Central School District teacher and high school coach Kali Watkins goes on Trial Wednesday morning for allegations of rape involving a high school student.

Watkins was the varsity girls' basketball coach and a special education teacher at Webster Schroeder High School. He's accused having sex with a 14-year-old girl between December, 2016 and January, 2017. A grand jury indicted him on first and second-degree rape charges.

A jury of 12 people and two alternates was seated Tuesday afternoon. Opening arguments begin Wednesday.
