Measles Cases Confirmed in Wyoming County

The New York State Health Department says it's confirmed five cases of the measles in the Mennonite Community in Wyoming County.

The source of the infection is unknown, but it may be circulating around Wyoming County because the initial patient in the outbreak has not traveled outside of Wyoming County.

Officials are asking doctors to ask about possible measles exposure if patients show up with symptoms including fevers and coughs.
