Final Defendant Pleads Guilty in Gun Store Theft

A third defendant has pleaded guilty to charges resulting from the breakin at Chinappi's Firearms and Supplies a year ago.

Federal prosecutors say 22-year-old Dakota Sarfaty admitted to breaking through a wall at the gun shop along with two other men and stealing 87 firearms, most of them handguns. The three men then sold many of those guns on Rochester streets. Fourteen of them were recovered in the days after the theft.

Sarfaty will be sentenced November 13th.
