Pregnant Woman Consumed Fentanyl In Order To Hide It From Deputies

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says a pregnant Nunda woman ate a large quantity of the drug fentanyl in an effort to hide it from deputies who pulled her over.

Deputies say Danae Gomez was pulled over for a traffic law violation, and a check showed her driver's license had been suspended or revoked seven times.

She was charged with driving without a license, and with evidence tampering for ingesting the drugs. Gomez is being held on $3,000 bail.
