Former State Supreme Court Justice Richard Rosenbaum is being Remembered

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has ordered flags on county buildings flown at half staff in memory of former State Supreme Court Justice Richard Rosenbaum.

Rosenbaum also served as a county legislator, and as the county and state Republican chairman. He also was a candidate for governor in 1994.

He also was a partner with the Nixon Peabody law firm.

Dinolfo called him "a giant and a great friend to so many.”

Current state GOP Chair Nick Langworthy says Rosenbaum's "extraordinary political talents will be remarked upon for generations to come."

Rosenbaum passed away at the age of 88.
