A two-year-old boy is in guarded condition after getting hit by a westbound car near his home on Routes 5 and 20 in Waterloo.
Deputies say the driver -- a woman living nearby -- was not at fault.
The boy, Leo Butler, wandered into the road around eight o'clock last night. He was flown to Strong hospital in Rochester.
The driver was treated at Geneva General for minor injuries.
