Mariano Rivera Inducted Into Baseball Hall of Fame

Retired Yankee Mariano Rivera has been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Rivera was the first unanimous Hall of Fame inductee after saving 652 games over his career, which is tops in big league history. He said he was honored to be a Yankee for his entire career. Also inducted were Mariners DH Edgar Martinez, and pitchers Mike Mussina and the late Roy Halladay. Harold Baines and Lee Smith were also selected via the Today's Game Era Ballot.
