A Rochester man who illegally gained access to dozens of women’s social media and email accounts, has been sentenced to three years’ probation.
Federal prosecutors say Justin Potts used password-breaking software to get usernames and passwords of more than 100 women’s accounts.
He would use their username and password to access their Facebook, iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts and steal personal information and photographs.
Investigators believe 150 victims were targeted as part of Potts scheme.
