Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren has declared a cool sweep for today. The Cool Sweep means extended hours at Genesee Valley Park Pool, and access to cooling sprays from fire hydrants and Spray Parks. The spray parks are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A cool sweep is usually triggered when temperatures reach or exceed 85 degrees.
