Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo plans to reduce a fee collected from County parents who are getting subsidized child care.
The fee is 35 percent of the cost of care and will be lowered next month to 25 percent. The fees are collected by the child care providers.
Dinolfo says the change will benefit 4,600 children. Typical families will save $800 per year.
