Work starts today to replace the Maiden Lane Bridge over Round Pond Creek in Greece. Recent inspection reports found signs of deterioration in parts of the nearly 40-year-old bridge.
The plan is to have the replacement work done by the end of August -- before the start of the school year. The detour route includes Long Pond Road, Vintage Lane and Fetzner Road.
