Sentencing took place today for a Riga man who admitted driving drunk during a crash that killed another driver.
Matthew Magar was sentenced to to 7 and 1/3 to 22 years behind bars after pleading guilty to several charges including manslaughter.
Prosecutors said Matthew Magar was driving at least 90 miles an hour and had a blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit.
The crash happened on January 7 at the intersection of Parma Center Road and Clarkson-Parma Townline Road.
The crash killed Dilek Ogut, of Greece.
