Batavia resident David Bellavia is in the nation's capitol, where tomorrow he will be given the Medal of Honor for his service in Iraq. Bellavia is being honored for clearing a house of insurgents in Fallujah. He killed four, including one in hand-to-hand combat. He will become the first living Iraq veteran to receive the honor.
NewsRadio WHAM1180's Bob Lonsberry says the government has planned a busy agenda for Bellavia and his family.
The ceremony is set for tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in the East Room of the White House.
We will carry it live on NewsRadio WHAM1180.
