The superintendent in the Wayne Central School District is resigning. Dr. Mathis Calvin III says on the district website he has "mixed emotions" about leaving.
The school board calls it a "mutual separation agreement".His resignation is effective next Thursday. He was hired in 2015, and there is no explanation for his decision. Dr. Vicma Ramos will take over as interim superintendent on July 1.
