The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 12:30 this afternoon for Monroe, Wayne and Ontario counties. The heavy rain is flooding roads, lanes on the expressways, urban areas and small streams.
There are reports of high water and abandoned vehicles on roads in southern Monroe County -- including middle road and Rush Scottsville Road. There are also reports of water covering some lanes of 490 east of the city.
We are getting reports of flooding near Sully's Trail in Bushnell's Basin.
Up to an inch and a half of rain has already fallen over parts of the area.
