The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic assault and stabbing at a home on Arbor Court in Periton.
Deputies were called to the home Tuesday morning, and found a juvenile with stab wounds to the leg and shoulder. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities believe the juvenile and a 17-year-old girl got into a physical confrontation that involved a knife.
During that confrontation, authorities say 21-year-old Kamaal Beachum was inside the home violating an order prohibiting him from entering the home.
He has since been charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor assault.
The 17-year-old was released to the custody of her father pending a grand jury referral.
