Legal sports betting begins at the state's casinos later this summer, but it appears online sports betting will have to wait until next year.
A bill allowing casinos to accept sports wagers over the internet cleared the Senate earlier this week, but isn't scheduled to come up for a vote in the Assembly before lawmakers adjourn.
Opponents of the bill say the main issue is the constitutionality of internet sports wagering.
