Two Area School Districts Trying Again to Pass School Budgets

Two area school districts are trying again to pass their school budgets.

Voting is today in the Brighton and Brockport school districts.

A proposed budget in Brighton was defeated last month when it fell short of the 60 percent supermajority that was needed to exceed the state's cap on tax increases. Since then, the district has revised the budget so that it stays within the cap.

In Brockport, voters are being asked to approve the same budget they rejected last month.
