The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is giving an update on the pedestrian accident last Friday on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford.
The Sheriff’s Office says 92-year-old Erwin Delano died from injuries he suffered after being hit by a vehicle that was pulling out from the Speedway gas station.
Authorities say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. The driver, Keith Crowder, was ticketed for having a suspended registration, an unregistered motor vehicle and for failure to yield to the right of way for a pedestrian.
