A 92-year-old man is being treated for serious injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital after he was run over by a pickup truck this afternoon in Pittsford.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says the accident took place in the 3,000 block of Monroe Avenue as the elderly man tried to cross a gas station's entrance. As he did, the pickup pulled out of the gas station and struck him. The victim ended up pinned under the truck.
Monroe Avenue is shut down between Clover Street and the Wegmans Plaza.
