University of Rochester Frat Suspended Due to Allegations of Hazing

The University of Rochester has suspended one of its fraternities amid a hazing allegation.

The university says that charges were brought against the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity this spring.

It says the fraternity did not dispute the charges, and agreed to accept immediate suspension of the chapter and the loss of its membership rights for three years.

The university says it appears nobody was hurt during the alleged hazing.
