The Buffalo Sabres have formally introduced the 19th coach in franchise history. Ralph Krueger took questions from the media yesterday at KeyBank Center. The 59-year-old said he's already exchanged messages with several players and is in the process of putting his staff together. Krueger hasn't coached in the NHL since leading the Edmonton Oilers during the 2012-2013 season. The Sabres are in the midst of a long playoff drought.
