A state Appellate Court has upheld a court ruling in this year's election race for Monroe County Executive. Incumbent Republican Cheryl Dinolfo and Democratic challenger Adam Bello both claimed they deserved the Independence Party line on the November election ballot. A lower court ordered recently that an Independence Party primary be held on June 25 to decide on the nominee, and the Appellate Court has upheld that ruling.According to recent campaign finance reports, Dinolfo had close to $470,000 to spend this year, and Bello has just over $200,000.
