Rochester police are investigating a hit-and-run in the South Wedge that killed a 60-year-old man. It happened around 9:30 Monday night when the man was struck as he crossed South Avenue, near Comfort Street.
The vehicle was heading south and did not stop. Police don't have a description of the vehicle, and aren't sure whether the man was in the crosswalk when he was hit.
His name has not been released.
