City Council Meeting: Accountability Board Amendments, Electric Scooters

The Rochester City Council meets tonight and could vote on amendments to the plan for a police accountability board.

One amendment would put the final plan up for a referendum in the November election. Another would allow a board member to have worked in law enforcement, though not for at least three years and not for the RPD.

In other business, the council could vote to allow the bike sharing company Zagster to also rent electric scooters.
