Greece Man Enters Guilty Plea for Lying to the FBI

A 22-year-old Greece man has pleaded guilty to charges of lying to the FBI. Thomas Alonzo Bolin, who also went by the name Peter Vincent, is facing up to five years in prison.

Federal prosecutors say Bolin used the Peter Vincent name to post white supremacist messages and threats of violence against Muslims and minorities on a Facebook page. The posts were made in March after the mosque attacks in New Zealand.

The FBI interviewed Bolin on March 30th, and he claimed not to have any weapons. A search found a shotgun in his bedroom closet.

Bolin will be sentenced on June 13th.
