Testimony continues today in the trial of NXIVM leader Keith Raniere.
A film maker who was part of the purported self-help group for years will be back on the stand. Last week, he testified that he was ashamed to be a part of NXIVM and that many of the people who joined the organization ended up being exploited. Raniere is accused of branding and starving young women whom he allegedly kept as sex slaves. He faces a lengthy prison sentence if convicted.
