Webster Superintendent Defending District's Freedom of Information Request

Webster school Superintendent Carmen Gumina is defending the district's Freedom of Information request to see the work emails sent by a Webster school board member, who works for the Greece schools.

Gumina says the request was part of an investigation into whether board member David Metzger used his Greece school district email account to leak information about private school board business. Gumina says that investigation isn't over.

But Greece school officials say the request to see the emails was expensive and is an inappropriate use of the Freedom of Information law.

And Metzger says he did nothing wrong.
