Seneca Park Zoo Going Smoke-Free

The Seneca Park Zoo is going smoke-free.

Starting Friday May 24, designated smoking areas in the zoo will disappear, and no guests or staff will be allowed to smoke on Zoo grounds.

The ban also includes e-cigarettes and applies during regular zoo hours and when private events are held there.

The decision by County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo had the unanimous support of the County Board of Health.

Dinolfo says she wants everyone who visits the zoo to have a fun and safe experience.
