Governor Cuomo says New Yorkers will be getting help beating the heat this summer.
He's announced six-million-dollars in grant money so those who suffer from weather-related illnesses can get air conditioners.
People can apply through either the Home Energy Assistance Program or at their local department of social services.
Applicants also have to be able to meet HEAP eligibility criteria.
