New York AG Questions Facebook's Privacy Practices

The New York Attorney General is launching a probe into Facebook over privacy concerns.

Facebook admitted last week it had collected roughly one-and-a-half-million email contacts without users' consent in 2016.

Attorney General Letitia James says Facebook needs to be "held accountable for how it handles consumers' personal information."

James is concerned that more emails were taken than the company is willing to admit.

Facebook said it is complying with the New York AG's office.
