Guilty Plea in Parma Gun Shop Robbery

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to the breakin and theft at Chinappi's Firearms and Supplies on West Ridge Road.

Federal prosecutors say 35-year-old Marcos Guzman admitted to theft of firearms and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He could be facing ten years in prison on each charge.

Guzman broke into the gun store early on August 18th along with Dakota Sarfaty and Luis Marcano-Agosto. They stole more than 80 firearms, nearly all handguns. They sold most of the stolen guns on the streets of Rochester. Fourteen of the guns were recovered the day after the theft.
