Irondequoit Murder Case Sent to Grand Jury

The case of the man accused of murdering his aunt at her home in Irondequoit has been waived to a grand jury.

Frederick Bohn was in Irondequoit Court Wednesday for a hearing that was canceled after the grand jury announcement. He's accused of strangling and beating 86-year-old Ingeborg Morley so badly that she died after police found her at her home on Lakeshore Boulevard.

Prosecutor Monica O'Brien says there's evidence to show she may have been a victim of significant elder abuse.

The case will now move from Irondequoit Town Court to either Monroe County or State Supreme Court.
