A Wayne County man was killed in a two-car crash in Marion. Two cars were involved in a head-on crash on State Route 21 around 6:20 p.m. Thursday. Deputies say Brian Thayer, 58, was driving in north in the southbound lane when he was struck by a car driven by 60-year-old Melvin Deon. Thayer was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight were he was pronounced dead. Deputies are investigating the crash.
