Both former Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio and her sister, Felicia Astactio filed petitions late this afternoon (Mon) to run for Rochester City Council. Felicia Astation filed as a candidate in the East District, and the former judge filed to run in the Northwest District.
Also filing petitions today: Victor Sanchez and former TV reporter Rachel Barnhart, to run for the 21st District seat on the Monroe County Legislature.
These filings set up primary elections in all three races if the petitions are valid. The primaries will be in June.
