A 23-year-old Rochester man has been found guilty of first degree manslaughter in a baseball bat beating death.
Prosecutors said Jimmie Wright struck 22-year-old Jean Meijias-Vargas over the head with the bat last June at a home on Joseph Avenue in Rochester.
The victim suffered multiple head injuries and died a month later. Wright will be sentenced on May 19th.
