Convicted Drug Trafficker Sentenced

Federal prosecutors say a 22-year-old Rochester man has been sentenced to six years in prison. William Cooke was found guilty of drug possession and distribution charges, and of illegal possession of a firearm.

Cooke was arrested after Rochester Police stopped a car he was riding in. Cooke jumped out of the rear passenger seat and ran, but was caught. Investigators determined he had tried to throw away a gun and numerous baggies of heroin.
