The grocery store announced on social media that it will close on Friday because of shrinking inventory. They had originally planned to close on the 24th.
In an earlier statement Hart's said that last year was its most profitable year ever, but declining sales made it impossible to make ends meet.The business said it was unable to find a new owner-operator.
Hart's has been a fixture downtown for the past five years.
