State Budget director Robert Mujica is slamming the budget proposed by the state Senate.
He says the lawmakers want to increase spending by more than three billion dollars, but their budget doesn't include any cuts or new revenues. Mujica says while the Assembly budget also calls for more spending, it includes new taxes that could help pay for it.
The budget deadline is April 1.
