A published report says an aide to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand resigned over how the Gillibrand handled a claim of sexual harassment.
"Politico" reports the unidentified aide resigned last summer and condemned Gillibrand for contradicting her outspoken belief that harassment of any kind shouldn't be tolerated.
Gillibrand is one of the biggest champions of the MeToo movement.
The former staffer claims that three weeks after she complained that a male aide close to Gillibrand made unwelcome advances, she became the target of retaliation.
