A Rochester man is headed to prison for 25 years to life for killing his 101-year-old neighbor last summer.
Gregory Jesmer was found guilty in January of second-degree murder in the July stabbing death of Marcia Morrison. Prosecutors say Jesmer strangled Morrison and stabbed her more than 40 times in her apartment on Green Knolls Drive.
Jesmer was also convicted of a charge he tried to lure a 13-year-old girl to his apartment.
