Second Trial=Second Conviction in Anthony Ott Murder Case

A jury has found 35-year-old Anthony Ott guilty of second degree murder and first degree assault for the murder of Travis Gray and the stabbing of Hank Hogan.

Gray and Hogan were leaving a bar on North Union Street in Rochester in September of 2005...when they were attacked by Ott and his father, Edwin Perez. Ott stabbed Travis Gray eight times and Hank Hogan twice. Travis Gray died later at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Ott was found guilty of murder in March 2006, but the case was returned on appeal because of a procedural error. He was convicted again in his second trial. Assistant District Attorney Perry Duckles prosecuted both times.

Ott will be sentenced on April 3.
