Wayne County Duo Arrested for Kidnapping, Missing Clyde Woman May Be Linked

There may be a break in the disappearance of a Clyde woman last fall.

Clyde police tell 13 WHAM that they are checking whether there is any link between the disappearance of Jeanette Ciaramella (sierra-mella) and the arrests last weekend of two people on kidnapping charges.

Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies say Elijah Jenkins and Amber Miller held a woman for three days last week. Jenkins allegedly threatened the woman with a gun until she signed over her truck. Jenkins is being held without bail.

Ciaramella was reported missing by her boyfriend in late November after he said he hadn’t heard from her in two days.
