Patrol Car Struck While Responding to Call

A Rochester police officer is expected to be OK after a crash while responding to a call. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Avenue and Alexander Street. The officer was using the siren and flashing lights when the car was struck on the passenger side.

The driver of the car and the police officer had minor injuries. No tickets have been issued.
