A New York State Trooper is expected to be OK after he was side-swiped by a tractor trailer on I-86 in Corning this morning.
State Police say Trooper Jacob Wackowski was parked with his emergency lights on assisting with traffic control at a weather related accident, when he was side swiped.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Troy English, age 53, from Buffalo was issued tickets for Failure to Obey the Move Over Law and other violations. State Police say English has numerous warrants for Identity Theft in North Carolina and Violation of a Court Order and Failure to Pay Fine in PA.
