Canandaigua firefighters rescued a man and his dog after they fell through ice. According to the Canandaigua Fire Department, a man was walking his dog near the boat launch at the Canandaigua Lake State Marine Park around 4:15 p.m. when his dog got loose. The dog went onto the ice and fell through. The man tried to rescue the dog and also fell through the ice. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. The dog was not hurt.
