Arrests Made in Facebook Live-Stream Attack

Rochester police have made four arrests in an attack on a man downtown that was streamed live on Facebook.

Police call it an unprovoked attack around 3:30 Wednesday at Main Street and Clinton Avenue.

A citizen who saw the live stream called 911 and police found the wounded man. Four people matching the suspect descriptions were spotted nearby and were arrested after simultaneous foot chases.

The man is hospitalized with head trauma.

Two 16-year-olds, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old are all charged with gang assault.
