More money is being made available to New Yorkers in need of help paying their home heating bills.
The 15-million dollars in additional funding announced by Governor Cuomo was made available yesterday.
The money is thanks to the Home Energy Assistance Program, also know as HEAP.
Cuomo also says the application period for both the regular -- and the second emergency -- HEAP benefit has been extended until April 26th.
