A California man is scheduled to make a court appearance today on charges he came to the Rochester area to have sex with a 12-year-old girl.
According to charging documents, starting last April, 44-year-old Gabriel Murillo used a social media app to have explicit conversations with the girl -- who was really an undercover state trooper. More recently, Murillo allegedly sent a pornographic video to what he thought was an email address for the girl.
He was arrested Saturday when he arrived from Los Angeles at the Rochester airport.
He is charged with first-degree sexual abuse.
