There's a warning today from the Rochester Broadway Theater League, to beware of fake tickets for the highly-anticipated run of HAMILTON at the Auditorium Theater: make sure you get tickets from the Auditorium Theater box office or from Ticketmaster. Those are the only two places you can get tickets and be sure they're genuine.
Most genuine tickets won't go over $200 plus fees.
The RBTL says HAMILTON tickets haven't gone on sale yet, but there are already numerous third-party ticket resellers advertising tickets online they don't actually have at inflated prices. If you see tickets offered for many hundreds or even thousands of dollars, there's no way of knowing if they're legit.
